    • This disclosure provides methods and systems for processing and matching information of a chemical substance, and a storage system. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method of processing information of a chemical substance comprises obtaining substructures of a chemical structural formula of said chemical substance; determining a featured substructure of said chemical substance from the obtained substructures; and storing said featured substructure of said chemical substance. The technical problem to be solved by one aspect of this disclosure is to provide a method and system capable of processing and/or matching information of a chemical substance independent of the existing various nomenclatures. One aspect of this disclosure provides a method and system for efficiently and comprehensively indexing and/or inquiring about information of a chemical substance using a featured substructure, and a storage system of the same.

    • A computer-implemented method and system for checking a chemical name. The method tokenizes the chemical name to obtain corresponding tokens; checks the chemical name according to the chemical association between chemical compositions represented by the tokens; and if the chemical name does not pass the check, replaces at least part of tokens of the chemical name that does not pass the check, and repeats the checking step. The system and method can not only help users to find and correct errors in spelling a chemical name but also check the entire chemical name at the level of chemical associations. Hence, not only chemical names that are incorrectly spelled but also ones that do not conform to chemical rules can be found, and significant help is provided to users for correcting chemical names.

    • An apparatus and a method for adhering a flexible film to a ventilated platen without air entrapment problems are described. In the apparatus, a tool body and a tool lid are connected together by a hinge means in a clam-shell configuration. The tool body has a cavity formed such that a ventilated platen can be tightly positioned therein with a top surface of the platen exposed. A flexible film is mounted to an inner surface of the tool lid facing the tool body and pushed down onto the ventilated platen while air is being withdrawn from the ventilated platen. The adhesion process for the flexible film to the platen can be completed without any air entrapment problem existing between the film and the platen.

    • An electrochemical cell according to the present invention includes a can having an open end; electrochemical materials including two electrodes provided inside the can; a seal provided in the open end of the can for preventing leakage of the electrochemical materials from the can; and a moisture barrier provided in the open end of the can for preventing external moisture from reaching the interior of the cell. Preferably, the ambient air barrier includes an inner cover or outer cover having at least one aperture. The ambient air barrier may further include a moisture-impervious plug material disposed in contact with the inner cover or outer cover for releasably sealing the aperture in the inner cover or outer cover. Alternatively, the moisture barrier may include a layer of moisture-impervious material disposed on the outer surface of the seal in an area exposed to ambient air passing at least partially through the aperture in the inner cover and/or outer cover.
